Why does Human Nature hold fear?

Why does Human Nature hold fear?

Introduction

The words that we use in our daily lives like “ME” Myself” “We” “Ourselves”. These all are not just words: They actually hold the complete world inside them. We carry a fear within ourselves. Sometime this fear takes us in a dark night, and sometime it alerts us about the incoming danger. This is not a defect of human; In fact, this is the beautiful part of human creation. So do you have this fear? Am not talking about your defects, or the things which you don’t have, .This fear can be about anything.

The silent death of ourselves

In todays, the fear, which you and I hold, is quite different from what classic human nature defines.  I always try to narrate things through my own experience, because I am one of those people too. In this age, I have noticed that we mainly fight with two types of fear:

  • The fear of being humiliated or shamed in front of others
  • The fear of people’s reaction

Psychology Today Fear

This is the fear, in which we suffer through our daily lives, and this single fear often pushes us toward deeper mistakes and wrongdoing .It ruins our inner senses, which helps us to distinguish between happiness, danger, wrong, and right. Our youngsters are the biggest victim of this fear. They feel hesitate to tell the truth even to their parents, who are closest to them. This is the exact point where we becomes weak /vulnerable, where a single silent struggle can break us to the point of our destruction.

The Reality Is Different

The fear we carry, it acts like an illness attacking us from within; but the true reality is that we are human and making mistake is direct in our nature:

“Just as it began with Hazrat Adam”

  • Fear of being Humiliated and people reactions

When we generally accept our mistake and admit, “Yes, I was wrong” the people actually cannot humiliate us at this point. Admitting your mistake is a rare quality; Not everyone has the courage to say” yes, It’s my fault”, “I am sorry for this “. Because it proves that, you fought with your inner ego to free yourself from the fear of public judgments. Therefore, the people who understood the exact point, they become speechless.

Try to get freedom from this fear

The Empty Apology How “Sorry” Lost Its Meaning in Modern Society

Some time ago, I also trapped in this type of fear. Today, I feel freedom because I started sharing both my good and bad experience with my parents and my friends, that ones who actually cares about my well-being. You should also try to tell truth with your parents and those who are honest with you. Thus, you get the real happiness, relief and peace of mind. When you think about telling truth, it brings a horrible reaction in your mind but facing reality brings incredible freedom. Once we admit our mistake and feel genuine regret, we actually try to avoid from repeating them. Because, we know how much this silent fear irritate us in the past.

In Islam

“The human who regret from a sin is just like a person who has no sin”

Making mistake is direct in our genes because we are the child or “Adam” and when Hazrat Adam regret about his mistake. He used to say:

“Our Allah please forgive me we have wronged in ourselves”

This proves that admit your mistake is not your failure, actually in Islam it is your winning point.

Frequently Ask Questions

Why is it that the nature of human beings consists of fear?
The fear is inbuilt in human nature for their own safety. Our brain sub-consciously interprets the fear before it gets processed by the conscious mind. The things that we fear are unknown, loss, failure and death but it is necessary for us to be scared. This is how nature has programmed us for better survival. It may harm or benefit us.

How do people die a silent death?
A silent death is a person’s departure that goes unnoticed by others. This can occur when he/she experiences isolation, unspoken sorrow, hopelessness/depression, or when their willingness to live disappears. These people are smiling from the inside as they move away silently and unnoticed in the world.

Why don’t people want to admit their mistakes?
Because admitting a mistake feels like attacking your own identity. The ego resists it, shame amplifies it, and fear of judgment seals it. People find it easier to blame others or stay silent than to look inward and say “I was wrong.” It takes real courage to admit fault and most people were never taught that courage.
