Today, what are we? where are we? In addition, how are we Spiritual Peace and Spiritual healing? How many more plans we have? It is a digital era, and we are quite absorbed in it. We do not have real peace; the peace of soul. Because we have lost the real beauty of worship, which is actually our beauty as Muslims that purifies the evils os our self. As the best religion near Allah is only Islam, do we really have spiritual peace at this moment? How close are we to Allah?

“Verily, by the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest peace”

How we are losing our spiritual peace?

Today, we have lost ourselves in thee digital era. We keep ourselves busy all day long. Take my own routine, for instance; I have to leave for university in the morning, so I rush through my prayers without any inner calm or mindfulness, simply fulfilling it as a duty. Immediately after, I check my phone, endlessly scrolling through whatever videos pop up on my feed; without even questioning whether what my eyes are consuming is permissible or not. My screen time keeps soaring. I hurry through the Quran and my prayers just because I have somewhere to go. We no longer have time for ourselves; time to pause and reflect on where we are headed. In addition, honestly, this very habit keeps us perpetually restless.

“So woe to those who pray; but are headless of their prayers”

Quran.com – Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:28

My experience and Digital Trap

This happens to me all the time: after prolonged screen time, I feel thoroughly drained and irritable, trapped in a strange mental state. In this situation if anyone; even my parents says the slightest thing, I react sharply. I can’t even explain it properly, but my heart feel overwhelmed by a wired sense of annoyance and anxiety, almost as if I am depressed or mentally exhausted. It is because this digital era takes us more away from Allah and Islam. Actually in other words this modern era was destroying our Faith, our relation with Allah Almighty.

“Among the options of a person’s good Islam is leaving what does not concern him.”

Our Innate connection

We are connected to Allah by nature because he created us with fit rah; an innate spiritual instinct. He breathed his soul into us and made us closer to him than our own jugular vein.

When life tires us out and worries overwhelm us, our superficial distraction fall away, and we naturally pull toward Allah. In moment of pain, distress, illness our soul instinctively seeks its true creator and Master, who loves us more than anyone one else even our mothers.

“And we have already created, and know what his soul whispers to him, and We closer to him than his jugular vein.”

Returning to him in prostration grounds us. As our eyes fill with tears hoping for his mercy, help, and guidance or spiritual peace. Those very tears become the mean to wash our sins. Because Allah knows what we have in our hearts.

“Is not he (best) who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon him and removes distress…?” Allah cannot bear his servant in trouble; he only wants to take servant on the correct way and tell him Allah is the original Master and creator and nothing is out from his control.

“My mercy encompasses all things.”

Human Nature hold fear

The path to cleansing the soul

When a genuine connection with Allah is formed, a person is naturally strives to distance themselves from sin. The thought; I have to stand before Allah in prayer soon, How can I face him?,  fills the heart with reverent shame. The moment the fear and love of Allah (Taqwa) enters our heart, the soul finds true peace, and we begin to cleanness ourselves from every evil. “Indeed prayer prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.
